What is this and why.
Is it a table, is it a braai grid, what is it for?
It’s both, when going to campsites the biggest thing that gets me is the state in which the built in grids normally look like.
Get your food off of the built in grid.
So the idea behind our Grid Table is that when you get to a campsite and it has a built in brick and mortar braai, you can ditch the grid that normally looks like it went to war and use the grid table to do your cooking on.
Made to be used on a built in braai or straight over the coals in a fire pit.
One of the features I looked at is how do you get different heights from a all in one grid, so we added in two pairs of legs.
On the lower legs the grid sits about 75mm from the fire giving you a super close heat source for making those steaks extra crispy. When using the second set of legs it lifts the grid 0ff even more to 150mm from the floor.
Something more for doing a longer cook time or doing a pooitjie on it.
Using it as a table.
Yes it has a grid pattern all over it, but if need be it can serve as a table, we like making products that will always serve multiple functions.
Not every trip is the same, we don’t pack the same either and this lead us to think of if I don’t need a grid since I have the Boekie Braai can I have a table.
Each set up and trip differs.
For myself I use it 90% as a table since I have the Boekie Braai. When going on a longer single stay trip and the campsite has a built in braai, I would put the Boekie braai in it and then place this as a table for our drinks and extra cooking accessories.
